The Woodstock Community Choir is proud to announce our Fall 2026 concert theme: Roots & Rhythm. Gospel, folk, blues, and early rock and roll. The foundation that so much of American music was built on. These genres have deep roots that crossed boundaries, shaped culture, and still resonate today. We hope to see you at the concert!

Each holiday season, Woodstock gathers in the heart of the historic Square for one of the community’s most beloved traditions, the annual Lighting of the Square.

Held the Friday after Thanksgiving, this magical evening marks the official start of the holiday season in Woodstock. As dusk falls, thousands of lights illuminate the trees, the Square, and the iconic Old McHenry County Courthouse. Buildings surrounding the Square glow with classic white perimeter lighting, creating a warm and festive backdrop for the celebration.
