Those Who Wish To Sing Always Find A Song!
Welcome to the Woodstock Community Choir! We can't wait to sing with you!
The Woodstock Community Choir, founded in 2014 by our artistic director Cassandra Vohs-Demann and assistant director Jessica Neihengen, proudly serves as the official choir for the City of Woodstock. Singers aged sixteen and older are warmly welcomed, regardless of their singing experience or skill level. There is no audition requirement, making it accessible to all who have a passion for singing, enjoy having fun, and wish to find a sense of community.
The choir’s repertoire is diverse, spanning genres from classical to rock and everything in between. Throughout the year, the group performs two concerts at the Woodstock Opera House, accompanied by a full band. Additionally, they lead singing for the annual Lighting of the Square and actively participate in various community events. They are also excited to be part of this year’s Groundhog Day festivities.
As a 501c(3) non-profit organization, the Woodstock Community Choir remains dedicated to its mission of
“Building Community Through Singing!” 🎵
